Which Is It?
WHICH IS IT?
1. Are you so absorbed in spiritual activities that you can hardly find the time for watching television, checking out Facebook, and surfing the internet? Or, are you so busy watching television, checking out Facebook, and surfing the internet that you can hardly find the time for spiritual activities? (Read Luke 8:14).
2. Are you so engaged in congregational worship that you seem oblivious to the distractions and the people around you? Or, are you so preoccupied with the distractions and the people around you that you are unaware of the spiritual meaning of worship? (Read John 4:23-24).
3. Is your mind so consumed with God and with kingdom concerns that you are distracted from the earthly things that people commonly worry about? Or, is your mind so consumed with worry about earthly things that you are distracted from God and from kingdom concerns? (Read Matthew 6:19-34).
4. Is your heart so full of Jesus Christ and His Word that there is no room for immoral thoughts? Or, is your heart so full of immoral thoughts that there is no room for Jesus Christ and His Word? (Read Colossians 3:16 and Philippians 4:8).
5. Do you love the Lord and your soul enough to make any corrections that this article might prompt? Or, do you love yourself and the freedom to do what you want so much that you are willing to slight the Lord and your soul? (Read Matthew 22:37-38).
